SAVE THE DATE - Day Without an Immigrant
Farmers Market Pavilion
85 E 8th Ave, Eugene 97401
Day Without an Immigrant is a coordinated day of action intended to highlight the economic and social contributions of immigrant communities while demonstrating solidarity with those affected by immigration enforcement. Participants are encouraged to show support by refraining from work, school, and non-essential spending.
This event is part of an ongoing series of monthly actions across Oregon leading up to a larger statewide mobilization planned for May 1, 2026. Activities in Eugene are expected to include peaceful demonstrations and community gatherings, with details announced closer to the event date.
Supporters and community members are encouraged to participate and help raise awareness of the role immigrants play in local communities and the broader economy.
NO ICE DETENTION CAMPS
Saturday, March 14, 2026 & Saturday, April 18, 2026
Eugene Federal Building
211 E 7th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401
Coburg City Hall
91136 N Willamette St, Coburg, OR 97408
The community of Newport has worked hard to push back against the Federal Government’s attempts to target Newport, Oregon for an immigration detention facility last year. Strong local protests and a lawsuit by the city resulted in a statement that “ICE has no plan or intention to begin construction or open an ICE facility in the City of Newport or at Newport Municipal between now and until May 1, 2026,”
All organizations and citizens in Oregon who wish to stand in solidarity with Newport & tell DHS & ICE that their proposal for a tent camp is not welcome in Newport, or anywhere in Oregon, should plan a peaceful protest in their city or town on March 14 & April 18.
We are looking to shine a state-wide light on Newport to tell DHS NO ICE CAMP HERE. Not now, not after May 1st, NOT EVER. Keeping detention center out of Oregon makes it harder for ICE to target our immigrant neighbors since ICE has no place in the state to detain them.
Locally, join us at 12 pm at the Eugene Federal Building or at Coburg City Hall on March 14th and April 18th.
No Kings 3
Saturday, March 28, 2026
Springfield City Hall
225 N. 5th Street, Springfield, OR
We are showing up together again on March 28th for No Kings 3! When our immigrant neighbors are being detained, unlawful war against Iran is being waged, Trans rights and medical treatment are being denied, our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. America does not belong to strongmen, greedy billionaires, or those who rule through fear. It belongs to us, the people.

What's The Plan? with Indivisible's Co-Founders Leah & Ezra
Thursdays | 12-1pm PST
The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back.
The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back.
Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan.
Virtual Meeting: You can join from anywhere!
